WHAT YOU WILL DO: You will have the opportunity to install and demonstrate new CNC machines in customer plants and manufacturing facilities. This includes both electrical and mechanical checkouts, set up, tooling, operation, and programming. This excellent opportunity is seeking someone who enjoys being customer facing with the ability to advise and assist customers. 

  • Prepare and submit demonstration reports accurately and promptly. 
  • Perform basic electrical/electronic, or mechanical, or hydraulic problem diagnosis and repair in customer's plants during warranty period. 
  • Advise and assist customers with most operations and programming problems during warranty period. 
  • Perform most maintenance work and provide basic assistance needed by customer following warranty period. 
  • Assist Field Service Engineer II with various assignments to receive necessary on-the-job training. 
  • Attend schools, seminars, and conferences to keep up with updates 
  • Train customer personnel in processing, tooling, operating, and servicing of Machine Tools products. 


  • AS Degree or 3+ years of relevant experience and/or training
  • Electro-mechanical Background
  • Knowledge of Machine Tools (CNC Turning Machines – Twin and Single Spindle Automated Turning Centers)
  • Understanding of Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Laser Systems a plus
  • Ability to Install and demonstrate new machines in customer plants 
  • Ability to read and interpret ladder logic
