WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Waxdale, WI

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Manage drawing library to maintain up-to-date drawings
  • Align existing drawings to be consistent with company standard formats

Drafting/Designing

  • Revise & Update existing drawings to reflect design changes
  • Review or Create prints, plans, layouts, specifications and other documentation requested by Engineering
  • Identify & Close drawing gaps by creating or modifying drawings

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Associate's degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field OR any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Required Skills:

  • 2D Drafting Software Experience – AutoCAD
  • 3D Drafting Software Experience – Revit, Navisworks
  • Drawing Experience – Civil/Architectural & Mechanical (Manufacturing Layouts)
  • Administrative –Experience Maintaining Drawing Libraries

Bonus Skills:

  • 3D Drafting Software Experience – Inventor, Solidworks
  • Drawing Experience – Mechanical (Machine), Electrical, Process (PID)
  • Skill Disciplines – Mechanical, Civil, Electrical
  • Manufacturing Engineering Skills

General Proficiencies:

  • Able to generate layout drawings from sketches and specifications
  • Able & willing to field verify drawings in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledgeable of standard drafting practices and procedures
  • Self-starter: Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time
  • Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written
  • Skillful with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
