WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for managing, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of various projects within the organization. 
  • Manage project teams from various functional groups, both internal team members and external. 
  • Utilizes project management tools such as Gantt charts, work breakdown structures, risk management matrices to keep projects on target and on budget
  • Champion change management through continuous improvement
  • Encourage and facilitate standardization through best practices
  • Constructively challenge ideas to ensure key information is surfaced
  • Develop specific step-by-step milestones for reaching project objectives including contingency planning
  • Develop and communicate adhoc reporting to all users

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Bachelor degree in related field such as business development, economics, mathematics or finance. Studies in organizational culture or social organization.
  • Ability to independently acquire and analyze information in depth and identify potential problems
  • Ability to see and understand a business opportunity and make a clear and actionable business recommendation
  • Requires strong business judgment and commercial knowledge, and an ability to fully understand the strategy of the firm and the dynamics of the marketplace
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required
  • Comprehensive presentation, verbal and written communication skills required
  • Experience in the transportation industry a plus
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Knowledge and experience with Reporting solution IBM® Cognos® preferred.
  • Six Sigma, Process Excellence and or Project Management Professional PMP certifications preferred.
