WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Handle billing, contracts, collections, accounting, and other assignments for assigned region.
  • Works closely with administrators within assigned region on billing and other assigned accounting tasks.
  • Work with the regional managers, project managers and collection department on billing and collection projects within region
  • Be knowledgeable of contracts and projects going on within the region and perform audits as needed.
  • Liaison between finance/accounting and operations in regions
  • Manage new automation project for each region
  • Ensure accuracy for purchase orders for all items, VISA program, Capex approvals and WIP review prior to submission
  • Develop knowledge of company software such as CostPoint
  • Work with corporate accounting team on month end close to ensure accurate and timely close process
  • Ensure accurate billing of projects to ensure projects are invoiced in accordance with correct contract
  • Work closely with Corporate Billing and Collections team

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Must have 4+ years in project financial/accounting experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability and understanding of the use of a personal computer and appropriate software, including but not limited to: Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Flexibility in work schedule and travel when required.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team with peers and leadership within the organization.
  • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
