WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information by conducting audit processes on a regular basis.
  • Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and associates on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
  • Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
  • Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field
  • 3-5 years experience in Benefits Administration in a medium to large company.
  • Ability to work within high performance teams and is a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulations and ability to apply them to administration/compliance of plans, including FMLA, ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, Social Security and DOL requirements.
