LOCATION:

Charlotte, NC

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develop significant level of expertise of the holdings, terms, and transactions of multiple portfolios to provide intuitive and proactive oversight of these portfolios
  • Ensuring cash reconciliations with the custodian bank are completed and outstanding items resolved on a timely basis
  • Overseeing the Service Provider in reconciling portfolio level activity
  • Reconcile monthly transactions, valuations, management and performance fee calculations, P&L components, and other activity between the fund accountant/administrator's records on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy
  • Verifying accuracy of investor capital balances, NAV allocations, and subscriptions/ redemptions on a monthly basis
  • Act as subject matter expert on the funds/portfolios covered
  • Preparing monthly performance and attribution reports for portfolio management using valuations from underlying investments, cash balances, and derivatives valuations. Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of quarterly, semiannual, and annual financial statements
  • Performing monthly compliance reporting and highlighting instances in which there may be potential noncompliance with the Funds' offering memoranda
  • Performing related duties as assigned
  • Prepare quarterly/semi-annual/annual Client review books by efficiently and effectively communicating with the Global Business Development Group, and Portfolio Management Teams

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED

  • Bachelor's degree required, graduate education preferred
  • The ability to think analytically, and articulate complex concepts in layman's terms
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, exposure to alternatives highly preferred
  • CPA required, CIAI or CFA certification preferred
  • Systems savvy: exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel
