WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Oversees pre-employment checks, compliance, and on-boarding aspects of the recruitment process
  • Responsible for all aspects of candidate event/program participation and applicant correspondence, including but not limited to, offer letters, training and start date communications, invitations, and recruiting evaluations
  • Responsible for scheduling candidate interviews with hiring managers
  • Responsible for posting job descriptions on the career website and university boards
  • Provide timely correspondence to hiring managers and the university relations team
  • Work with third-party suppliers, such as event/scheduling vendors, as required
  • Process event/program invoices, checks, and expense reimbursement related to campus recruiting
  • Work primarily with recruiters and campus managers for all campus/site-based events

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
    • 1+ years of experience in Coordinating
    • Ability to work independently in Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
    • Strong PC skills and MS office skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
    • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear manner
    • Demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
    • Ability to collaborate virtually is a must
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • 2+ years of related experience
    • Event Management Experience
    • Proven work experience as a recruiting coordinator or recruiter
    • Demonstrated experience coordinating in a corporate environment
