WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:
• Boston, MA

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Lead projects that produce clear, concise content, always keeping the user in mind.
• Write and edit technical content for online forms and tools to marketing copy for websites.
• Write and deliver content strategy documents, directionally-correct content in wireframes and final delivery content matrices and copydecks.
• Write new and edit existing copy for digital and mobile user experiences.
• Understand best practices across different media.
• Create consistent, on-brand messaging for various participant audiences (e.g., 403(b) participants, client organizations and industry consultants).
• Create documentation to help communicate the experience to the project team, UX team, and prototyping team. Collaborate with management, information architects, visual design, development, testing, business, marketing and other internal stakeholders
• Solid experience with online writing and editorial skills, with ability to create and manage complex copy documentation.
• Experience developing and adhering to digital brand standards and style guide for tone, voice and consistent copy presentation.
• Ability to review work of other writers, proofread, and participate in user acceptance testing as needed.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
• 4 to 7 years of mid-level experience writing digital content (e.g., Web, email, mobile, blogs and social media).
• Experience providing web content strategy, site audits and analysis.
• Experience creating content for multimedia formats (e.g., audio, video, Flash, etc.)
• Solid understanding of SEO, keywords and metadata.
• Experience developing and delivering content strategy approaches
• Experience writing for accessibility best practices
• Experience working with legal and compliance for content approval
• Strong verbal and visual communication, written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Experience writing within a UX team or digital agency is required.
• Experience writing within the financial industry is a plus.

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED (PREFERRED):
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, related field or equivalent work experience.
• Online portfolio of online writing samples (examples of copy documentation, methodologies and processes required).
• Demonstrated experience with IT project methods such as Waterfall SDLC and Agile.
• A passion for being the voice of the user and a proven track-record building user-centric solutions.
• Exude a positive attitude—respond to feedback with skill and professionalism.
