WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT: 

  • Manage the design, development, and maintenance of the ServiceNow HRSD platform to ensure that users are being supported in meeting their business needs
  • Perform day to day administration of the ServiceNow system, including making approved changes to processes and work flows
  • Design, develop and implement the service portal within the ServiceNow HRSD Module
  • Oversee the performance and execution of multiple HRSD processes within ServiceNow
  • Lead analysis of end user processes to define application requirements
  • Work in conjunction with IT to maintain the overall ServiceNow platform

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • 5 years of experience in HR technology, specifically support of the processes and administration of ServiceNow
  • Experience designing and deploying web-based end user self-service portals
  • Knowledge of and experience with web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, XML and Web Services
  • Experience with ServiceNow forms, fields, views, lists, UI policy and actions, and client and server scripts
  • Experience with integrating ServiceNow with other tools; experience with monitoring, alerting and federated sources of CI data
  • Any of the following certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with HR processes
  • Experience successfully implementing processes leveraging the HRSD framework
  • Experience performing continuous improvement initiatives for processes and services
  • Implementation experience of the ServiceNow HRSD platform
  • Ability to bring immediate credibility to the human resources function through professional qualifications and leadership skills, as well as project the highest levels of integrity.
  • Demonstrate an advanced understanding of HR systems, processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements for assigned functional area
  • A sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Significant analytical and problem solving skills required.  Attention to detail a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with customers, peers, and vendors.
  • Ability to influence others, identify problems, and recommend a course of action.
  • Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements.
  • Ability to excel in a team based environment, demonstrating customer service, teamwork, and leadership. Experience helping to work through conflict to reach a successful resolution.  Readiness to work with team members to ensure coverage for customers.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, using a pragmatic approach to problem solving.

  • Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and delegate as appropriate by disseminating knowledge and techniques. Experience providing feedback and coaching employees regarding difficult situations while providing a line of sight to desired outcomes and standards.
