  • The Sr. Applications Analyst - Oracle OM is responsible for business analysis/functional requirements definition, solution design, implementation and maintenance of Oracle Order Management modules applications.
  • This position works closely with various IT groups and business users in defining, prioritizing and executing application enhancements and projects.
  • Additionally this role plays a critical role in ensuring that Developers have adequate clarification and support on all business and functional requirements and specifications related to applications.
  • Work closely with non-technical business users to gather requirements and define scope of project or change request.
  • Analyze and query application data schema.
  • Interview various non-technical managers to understand complex, dynamic business rules / process and then create detailed, specific, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Engage business users across multiple business units and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure and implement effective technology solutions.
  • Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the Project Team, Developer Team and Production Support Team to design and implement an effective solution.
  • Use strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework to successfully complete customizations.
  • Verify feasibility of business user’s request(s) functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures.

  • Oracle Order Management Modules
  • Experience in Order to Cash processes
  • Strong knowledge of related application configurations and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of related application data structures and data relationships.
  • Proficiency with SQL and writing complex queries.
  • Experience with global system implementations and engaging with multiple business units
  • 5 years’ experience in IT/Technology industry.
  • 3 years’ experience with Oracle EBS application analysis and configurations.
  • 3 years’ experience with Oracle Order Management modules and processes.
  • 3 years’ experience working as a Business / Functional Analyst
  • 3 years’ experience with complex, multi-national application implementations
  • 2 years’ project management experience
  • Ability to mentor less experienced team members.
  • Experience with global system implementations of Oracle EBS Applications.
  • Experience in testing functionality against business requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a field related.
