WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • You will be responsible for GAAP accounting and financial reporting for a division focused on real estate investment portfolios
  • You will perform technical accounting research and ensure compliance with regulatory changes with regards to GAAP, IFRS and the SEC
  • You will prepare technical memos and financial statement footnotes
  • You will work cross functionally with various departments including risk management, legal, finance and asset management

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 4+ years of accounting experience
  • Previous public accounting experience required
  • An MBA or CPA distinction preferred
  • Knowledge of SEC reporting is a plus
