WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Responsible for investigating and problem solve plant reliability issues utilizing best practice maintenance techniques and principles.
  • Support maintenance teams in the rationalization, planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to drive improved sustainable plant reliability.
  • Provides project engineering expertise to deliver plant improvement capital projects.
  • Time-based preventive maintenance tasks
  • Utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methods
  • Utilizes SAP to implement and monitor asset strategies
  • Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations.
  • Provides technical support to production, maintenance management and technical personnel
  • Coach and mentor maintenance technicians in reliability principles and best practices
  • Participates in the development of design, installation, and commissioning plans of projects.
  • Participates in the development of criteria for and evaluation of equipment and technical MRO suppliers and technical maintenance service providers. Develops acceptance tests and inspection criteria.

LOCATION:

PROFILE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • CMMS experience
  • Understanding of tribology principles
  • Predictive maintenance experience
  • Six Sigma methodology experience preferred
  • Some electrical and automation experience preferred
