WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Manage several PdM programs creating database point setup for routes, vibration data collection and analysis plus preparation of machinery condition assessment reports.
  • Perform vibration diagnostic investigations on various types of rotating equipment.
  • Diagnostics will include Modal and ODS Analysis, along with Motion Amplification Analysis
  • Document results of field vibration analyses; plus develop recommendations needed to correct faults or problem conditions.
  • Perform Acceptance testing on new and newly overhauled machinery.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field preferred but is not required. Two-year technical degree is likewise acceptable if candidate has sufficient vibration experience and training.
  • Five years practical experience with vibration data collection and analysis using FFT analyzers and PdM software on rotating machinery.
  • Valid ISO Category III vibration certification or the ability to achieve certification within 6 months.
