WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Manages full-life cycle of seasonal university recruitment for internships and early career roles across the enterprise. This includes proactive sourcing of talent, screening candidates, managing interview and job offer process, securing onboarding process completion and managing the onsite experience
  • Serves as direct point of contact for hiring managers regarding recruiting; advises hiring managers on job postings and the marketing of jobs; partners with the recruitment marketing team to advertise openings
  • Builds and maintains network of talent leads from all sourcing channels to generate a high-volume, high-quality pipeline of candidates working within tight timelines for multiple hiring managers and multiple skillsets
  • Works with ATS and other platforms as needed to fill and manage assigned job roles
  • Uses data to drive decisions and frequently report recruiting success and improvement opportunities to management
  • Partners with onboarding team to ensure a seamless candidate to new hire experience
  • Hosts and/or attends career fairs, diversity conferences, information sessions, and speaking engagements related to talent attraction. Oversees post-event process by assessing qualifications for talent leads and managing talent lead pipelines across all channels
  • Builds a network of external partners to grow and expand sourcing activities and hires within our Diversity, Military and University programs and the business as a whole
  • Reviews talent lead and candidate video introductions and resumes, and acts as talent advocate by providing coaching and feedback
  • Tracks activity with a focus on operational excellence and data-driven practice
  • Builds sourcing practices and processes to support a growing operation
  • Promotes Spectrums diversity and inclusion efforts and positive community relations by developing/maintaining internal and external relationships to increase Spectrums employment brand image

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2 plus years of recruiting work experience
  • Ability to travel frequently (60%)
  • Demonstrated desire to provide high level of customer service to candidates and internal and external clients
  • Proven ability to build internal and external relationships
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Ability to collaborate virtually is a must

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University recruiting experience
  • National conference recruiting experience
  • Event management experience
  • Experience in technical recruiting
  • Experience recruiting in a corporate environment
