WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT: 

  • Plan and prioritize product roadmaps based on customer needs, business goals and constraints
  • Ensure rapid delivery of quality product releases through strong and efficient PM process management in collaboration with engineering
  • Identify and forecast trends in demand for business intelligence, analytics, HL7 and healthcare to bring new ideas to drive future offerings and revenue streams
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and engineering, to ensure the right features, positioning, pricing and promotions are established
  • Utilize feedback from the market to outline emerging customer needs, features, and functional requirements
  • Work with development teams can design, build, test and implement new products and offerings
  • Work within a matrix environment to ensure that functional teams are fully aligned to key priorities and opportunities
  • Assist in the development of formal usability and validation testing for FDA/CE Mark product submissions

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 3+ years’ experience with customer development and/or “Product Owner” experience in an Agile environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software product management
  • Healthcare experience and/or experience in a highly regulated industry preferred
  • Technical background to assist in development and optimization of Agile development processes
  • Strong interest in the application of innovative technology to diverse clinical environments
  • Ability to understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable strategy and implementing the strategy
  • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage at wide range constituents including customers and peers
  • SCRUM Master certification or Agile, Lean or other iterative development certification is preferred
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently with little or no supervision
