WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Manage the effectiveness of internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and policies
  • Assist with monthly close and collaborate with operations and accounting/finance team as needed
  • Provide detailed analysis of financial performance to senior leadership which will include variances to prior year and forecast
  • Oversight and management of budgeting and forecasting including weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual projections for income statement, balance sheet, and operating cash flow
  • Develop key metrics and report accordingly
  • Manage the quarterly physical inventories and audits of sites
  • Ad hoc assignments and analysis as needed

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant discipline required.
  • MBA and / or CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance function, with a strong preference for controllership experience in a manufacturing/plant environment
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, cost accounting, inventory, and internal controls
  • Extensive analytical ability with communication skills to present to executive leadership
  • Ability to travel 25-50% between sites
