WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Charlotte, NC

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Review and respond to down machine ‘expedite’ requests
  • Research BOM to find units or assemblies that may be in stock or contain items needed for ‘expedite’ orders
  • Review assembly and parts drawings to identify items that can be made/sourced locally to fill ‘expedite’ orders
  • Generate machine order report and communicate to leadership or other suppliers to maintain up-to-date deliveries
  • Work to find alternate solutions to long lead time requests

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • A.S. in mechanical discipline preferred
  • MS Dynamics 365 experience preferred
  • Detailed knowledge of machine tools
  • Strong Microsoft Excel background
  • Able to work with other departments to achieve desired results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and very organized
  • Customer service focused
