WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide technical advice to the sales force and distributor representatives to resolve product or service requests regarding technical or implementation issues.
  • Performs installations of packaging tape applicators and troubleshoots customer installed equipment.
  • Trains internal and external sales teams, technical teams and end user equipment operators in the operation and troubleshooting of tape application equipment.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the technical functions of the job. 
  • Collect data on tape head utilization for tracking maintenance issues
  • Maintain database to develop predictive maintenance schedules to minimize customer disruption with failed equipment
  • Educate internal and external salesforce, end user maintenance and equipment operators on equipment attributes
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports for all end user visits
  • Document additional end user and distributor information, capturing both quantitative information and market insights that may lead to innovative product development, new marketing/distribution strategies and increased sales

LOCATION:

Northern California

PROFILE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years’ experience with packaging machinery
  • General knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the packaging field
  • Must be able to travel up to 75%
  • Prefer to live near major airport.
