WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT 
• Work with all aspects of Microsoft .NET web development including server-side programming and HTML/CSS creation with JavaScript components.
• Develop code, test, debug, maintain, modify, and install complex software programs.
• Analyze complex technical requirements and make determinations for modifications of existing programs/modules.
• Research and resolve complex issues and implement longer term solutions to frequently occurring issues.
• Develop program specifications and flowcharts as needed. Develop and maintain clear documentation.
• Convey problems, solutions, updates and project status to peers and management.
• Prepare time estimates and attend post-implementation reviews.
• Get involved in the product you are creating rather than being a developer who pushes out code.
• Take ownership of a task and stay on top of it through its completion.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS 
• 3+ years of professional .NET software development experience.
• Experience with writing C# code using .NET 4.0 and 4.5.
• Experience with Microsoft web development technologies like ASP.NET Webforms or ASP.NET MVC and third-party web frameworks like jQuery.
• Strong HTML/CSS knowledge.
• An understanding of relational databases, specifically SQL Server.
• Familiarity with writing and consuming web services (e.g., WebApi, WCF), including at least a basic understanding of service based architecture.
• A general understanding of SDLC (i.e. Software Development Life Cycle).
• Stronger T-SQL experience, including schema design and optimization.
• General Windows server administration experience, especially IIS configuration.
• Understanding of Responsive design, techniques and frameworks.
• Experience with Entity Framework (version 5 or 6).
