WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Provides support to the VP of Domestic Sales and assists with the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers
  • The position will participate and facilitate the creation of value-added solutions for prospective clients. 
  • Responsible for creating new sales leads, closing of deals, managing, maintaining and developing relationships with key clients.
  • Responsible for navigating through commercial and operational landscape for data gathering to implement customer onboarding
  • Attend various industry events, interact with the entire customer base and promote the company vision
  • Work with other internal stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, Legal and Business Integration, to provide customized sales proposal for each individual customer
  • Share up to date market intelligence to the Commercial organization as well as other internal stakeholders
  • Explore new revenue opportunities with all domestic customers beyond standard use agreements

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Five years of experience in a sales organization, customer-oriented position.
  • Ability to comprehend P&L reporting and how it pertains to commercial accountability to drive margin improvement.
  • Motivated self-starter, able to work with limited supervision.
  • Superior problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI) and ability to learn proprietary in-house systems and customer relationship management systems (CRM) preferred.
  • Must be able to travel extensively.
  • Geographically located in Charlotte or Chicago.
