WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Assist the Inventory Control Manager with factory operations development, overhead rate maintenance, cost planning and analysis, physical inventory, and month end reporting
  • Work with plant finance team members to understand cost variances and analyze ways to drive cost down
  • Be the primary resource within accounting department for inventory related information
  • Ad hoc projects as needed

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting (preferably in manufacturing environment)
  • Self-motivated with aspirations to consistently learn and identify ways to improve processes
  • ERP experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (SQL a plus)
