WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Duluth, GA

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures.
  • Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, and/or as directed by the Human Resources Director on personnel matters.
  • Focuses on employee relations and investigations, managing with compliant, effective communication
  • Analyzes trends at specified locations in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • BS Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development or Labor Relations or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Experience in retail, sales, or trucking industry strongly preferred. with strong functional knowledge
  • Background in employee relations, EEOC and mediation
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
