WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Charlotte, NC

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • The ideal candidate will take direction and training from Network Administrator.
  • Serve as first point of contact for the Help Desk.
  • Respond to Help Desk calls in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
  • Escalate issues as needed to Network Administrator focused on fastest resolution for the end user.
  • Track events in the trouble ticketing system and follow through to resolution or hand off to Sr. IT staff.
  • Assist Network Administrator as requested.
  • Travel to Division offices and job sites as requested by Network Administrator.
  • Instruct/train end users on how to use their computing equipment and Microsoft Office 365 software.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Proficient in current desktop operating systems.
  • Proficient in supporting Android and Apple Mobility devices.
  • Hold or able to earn a Certified Microsoft Technical Associate in IT Infrastructure certificate.
  • Hold or able to earn a Help Desk Professional certificate.
  • Hold an A+ certification or equivalent work experience.
  • Possess basic networking knowledge.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals.
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate in Windows 10 helpful.
