WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

• Responsible for the oversight of 3 dealer operations.
• Supervise the Parts and Service functions and staff for the assigned region.
• Ensures Work in Process is timely completed and resources are provided for closing work orders.
• Establish a system of quality controls for Service Department and Parts Department
• Responsible for ensuring that all staff is qualified and adequately trained to meet customer needs and expectations in the assigned region including safe work practices.
• Provide hiring and termination recommendations for technicians and parts personnel within region.
• Provide management oversight for high standards of upkeep of facilities, grounds and fleet vehicles within region.
• Maintain targeted company performance levels and KPI’s for parts and service within region.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Bachelor degree and/ or technical background with sufficient supervisory leadership work experience within heavy construction equipment industry.
• Prior supervisory experience over a technical staff in heavy equipment is required.
• Knowledge of safe job practices & regulations related to OSHA, MSHA, and DOT requirements.
• Have knowledge and hands on experience with personal computers and related software using Microsoft Windows applications
