WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Corning, NY

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Encompasses the use of integrated systems for computer-aided design used for the systematic representation and dimensional specification of mechanical and architectural structures.
  • Prepares drawings or schematics for mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems, equipment and structures.
  • Utilizes SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create both models & drawings.
  • Makes engineering computations and prepares and revises specifications.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • AAS Desired
  • 3+ Years of experience preferred
  • Experience with SolidWorks (required)
  • AutoCAD (a plus)
  • Word & Excel (required).
  • Experience with sheet metal or process piping also preferred.
  • Intermediate level technical understanding.
  • Implements standard procedures.
  • Able to gather information independently using established and defined procedures.
  • Takes initiative in continuous improvement.
  • Uses some discretion.
