WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Reporting directly to the Systems Compliance Supervisor, this position will perform all duties to support the Document Control function at the Durham facility. This will include maintaining documentation compliance on the manufacturing floor, maintaining and organizing hard-copy documentation records for retention, as well as maintaining record control for product and process validations.
  • Responsible for assisting with ongoing documentation compliance projects/ tasks, such Site Documentation Review Project, Supplier Acknowledgment Letter Process, and Customer Helpdesk Tickets. Other comparable duties may be assigned as needed.
  • This position interacts with all levels of the organization and within CLS division.
  • Maintain compliance for hard-copy, controlled documentation on the manufacturing floor.
  • Perform routine audit of hard-copy records, organize records, and act as point-of-contact for questions related to production floor documentation.
  • Maintain appropriate storage and organization of all hard-copy documentation generated at this facility. Organize and catalog records for offsite storage.
  • Maintain all hard-copy documentation binders and associated records related to all product equipment validations that occur at this facility.
  • Provide support and assistance related to generating, reviewing, and approving Supplier Acknowledgment Letters (SAL) for product and process changes. Responsible for direct communication with site suppliers.
  • Assist the Quality Documentation Specialist with DARM Compliance; manage corporate documentation retention schedule and assist the employee of this facility with overall compliance to that schedule.
  • Assist the Quality Documentation Specialist with Document Review Project; maintain documentation review completion schedule. Work closely with facility associates to ensure they are aware of the schedule to ensure on-time task completion.
  • Assist with answering customer questions via the Customer HelpDesk.
  • Assists with maintaining basic documentation record controls in ETQ (electronic documentation system).
  • Delivers compliance reports to plant staff and facility to drive compliance related to documentation compliance, as needed.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1 year within a quality operation or documentation function.

Skills/Experience:

  • Understanding of Quality processes and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
  • Previous experience in documentation control and/ or records retention.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office.
  • Demonstrated excellence in team work and verbal communication skills.
