WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans for an organization.
  • Stays abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly.
  • Review business requirements to create marketing campaign list
  • Create pre-sizing counts for business teams to determine final requirements or ensure budgets are met with respect to per piece creative cost and expected list size
  • Use Marketing tools (SAS Marketing Automation and/or Siebel Marketing or Adobe Campaign) to select eligible participants to include in marketing mailing based on criteria provided
  • Apply suppressions and marketing preferences and opt out information based on per campaign requirements
  • Apply control hold out or other campaign splits, based on creation of design of experiment and creative copy split needs
  • Create waterfalls and data samples for review and approval by business partners
  • Prepare files in required format for delivery to in house call centers our outside vendors for Email or Direct Mail deployment
  • Identify, address, and communicate any data anomalies, data gaps, issues, and present solutions to campaign stakeholders
  • Supports campaign planning process by providing input on time allocation for campaign development and execution
  • Provides data input for Design of Experiment creation
  • Participates in data validation and UAT for introduction of new data into marketing platform tools when needed
  • Participates in UAT/post production validation for changes or regression testing of Siebel marketing platform.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • 1-3 years’ experience creating marketing lists, creating waterfalls, and sending files to outside
  • vendors through secure methods
  • 1-3 years Siebel Marketing Experience preferred but not required if candidate has experience in list creation and delivery via other marketing platform(s)
  • 1-2 years SAS Marketing Automation campaign list creation experience preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of data collection and manipulation experience using SAS or other database access tools
  • Understanding of relational database structures
  • Able to read business requirements documents and translate defined requirements into detailed, field specific data pulls and execute code for list execution
  • Detailed knowledge of campaign execution process, data and tools, including design of experiment construction, measurement and tracking
  • Experience in file distribution and output file generation Experience in file delivery and generation of corresponding file layouts
  • Ability to support business partners with “what-ifs” scenarios for universe sizing activities
  • Understanding of marketing policies / standards for suppressions and potential impacts on data volumes and quality
  • Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency gains across campaigns
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Some experience in Adobe Campaign, Base SAS and/or SAS EG is preferred, although in a limited capacity. No need for full SAS experience in data analytic or modeling type activities
  • Experience with Adobe Campaign preferred but not required
