WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Work closely with the Client Service Reporting team to contribute to the development and execution of client service and marketing materials and communications.
  • Manage the data stewardship of client data.
  • Produce and develop data content for client communications efforts and marketing materials and assist in materials production.
  • Work closely with the Relationship Managing Directors to assist in timely and thorough responses to clients.
  • This position is highly focused on data generation and reporting with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal and external databases to include data control, operational improvements and reporting requirements
  • Streamline data processes and data collection systems, optimizing statistical efficiency and quality
  • Explore new approaches to increase efficiency and improve processes without sacrificing creativity or quality
  • Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources to populate external databases with firm data as well as portfolio data and characteristics
  • Prepare and execute quarterly client reporting RFIs, Questionnaires and DDQs with consistency and expediency
  • Develop charts, tables and exhibits for inclusion in existing marketing collateral templates as well as for one-off requests from the marketing and client service teams
  • Provide proofreading support and data quality control during quarter-end update cycles
  • Ensure all materials adhere to established design and data integrity standards
  • File all client communications and client service and marketing materials according to business practice
  • Solicit or procure background data for questionnaires and other client reporting from portfolio accounting systems and external databases
  • Assist in task management regarding projects requiring participation by multiple people
  • Maintain, update and produce data feeds and dashboards for internal audiences from CRM system
  • Maintain and keep current all contact information in CRM
  • Assist in marketing and client service-related projects involving CRM analysis 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline such as marketing, finance, economics or accounting
  • One or more years of experience in data management, stewardship or analysis 
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Financial services experience preferred

Desired

  • High-level math skills and the ability to translate mathematical information 
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral, written and visual communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel including macros and chart building
  • Understanding of analytics and markets/economy
  • Proficiency in database use including retrieval, report writing, developing efficiencies
  • Proficiency in or ability to acquire desktop publishing skills
  • Self-starter that can work both independently and collaboratively with teams
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and timelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM system software knowledge a plus (MS Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce); Bloomberg, eVestment, FactSet software knowledge preferred 
  • Understanding of GIPS and regulatory reporting a plus
