WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Data Analyst Tasks

Startup

  • Attend Client onboarding meetings.
  • Review project documentation to understand the needs of the client.
  • Create Onboarding / Pre-Production Test Plan.

  • File Creation
    • If we need to create the file (e.g. from a spreadsheet), work with Solution Services to use tool to create the file. We might need to provide some requirements to Solutions Services to help with this process.
    • Review file created by Solution Services, check for reasonableness or any obvious issues.

  • Testing – IGO/NIGO
    • Check files for “reasonableness” prior to submitting for IGO/NIGO. If any questions or obvious issues, provide feedback to Data Lead and IT PM.
    • Send request to process files through IGO/NIGO, and, once complete, request observation report.
    • Review observation report, and identify any errors where additional clarification is required to put the error in context.
    • Provide observation report to Data Lead and IT PM, together with any additional comments.

  • Testing – Full File Processing & RTT 
    • With Data Lead: monitor incoming test files.
    • Check files for “reasonableness” prior to submitting for IGO/NIGO
    • If necessary, create test conditions to verify specific issues will process correctly.
    • Identify any issues which may necessitate a workaround, work with Client Solution to determine workaround steps.
    • Review output files (1122, CR output from STAC).
    • Review and verify all reports.
    • Request feedback, verify feedback file and reports map to expectations.
    • Follow up with Solutions Services to understand any discrepancies between expected and actual results.
