WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Commission customized machines and systems onsite and at customer facilities
  • Electrical and software troubleshooting of customized solutions including manufacturing automation and safety systems
  • Power up electrical systems and configure hardware per applications specifications
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing company installed systems
  • Programming, Configuring, or Troubleshooting Logic Controllers (PLC) and HMI systems (e.g. Siemens, Maple Systems, Schneider)
  • Contribute to the design of HMI panels of US production machines according to the Siemens standard (SIEMENS SIMATIC), adapting it to customer requirements
  • Remote assistance, through Teamviewer, Ubiquity platforms, to monitor and modify the process parameters in order to guarantee the maximum availability of the painting lines
  • Assisting the Service department in troubleshooting by remote assistance
  • Programming parts as HMI, PLC, Drivers or remote assistance to customers line

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 2+ years of experience required in the programming of electromechanical systems and PLC-assisted automation
  • Familiar with Industry Standards UL and CE
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated machine designs including specification of power, sensor, and communications systems.
  • Must be open to travel upwards of 75%
