THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

  • Manage the billing and inventory control department; providing leadership to associates and reporting to senior level management
  • Responsible for control functions and adjustments, and perform certain general accounting functions in connection with monthly closing and year-end audits
  • Effectively manage internal inventory control processes and appropriately handle exceptions; 
  • Work with all department managers to identify and understand key projects, initiatives and workload
  • Reconcile inventories and coordinate annual physical inventory procedures;
  • Part of Management Team to implement loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory;
  • Ad-hoc projects, as assigned

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED: 

  • BA or BS in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant accounting experience, manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Experience supervising or leading a team.
  • Strong process documentation, procedure, and quality background. 
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel, and J.D. Edwards or comparable ERP system is desired.
