WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Verify eligibility and benefit information and work assigned work queues
• Contact Insurance companies as needed to verify hospice benefits
• Submits authorization request and makes sure all required documentation is submitted
• Reviews and submits all follow up authorizations or recertification’s
• Document verifications and authorization information in patients’ medical record 
• Communication with field staff, branches and facilities regarding any missing documents or information needed to obtain authorization
• Review patients medical record for any forms or documentation needed to obtain the authorization
• Ensure timely processing of benefit information and seek assistance from manager when necessary

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
• Experience with HomeCare-HomeBase preferred 
• Well organized and confident to work independently, but is a team player 
• Ability to communicate clearly to field, mid-level, and executive staff
