WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

  • Short Hills, NJ

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Implement a source code scanner tool such as Checkmarx or Fortify, including build integrations for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Reviewing static code analyses for security vulnerabilities using approved tools.
  • Performing dynamic analysis of the same large application using tools like White Hat.
  • Automating repetitive security procedures by maintaining and improving security documentation.
  • Proactive collaboration and communication both internally within development and risk teams.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Strong understanding of software development (Java preferred) and secure coding principles.
  • Functional knowledge of Jenkins, JIRA, automating repetitive tasks using Python, Amazon Web Services, and OWASP tools strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
